Carolina Pro Musica presents their annual holiday concert Friday December 13, 2024, at 7:30 pm at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 1001 Queens Rd, Charlotte, NC 28207. The program features narrator Bob (Max) Sweeten telling the Christmas story in readings and poetry. Music will be with 18th century instruments (baroque recorder, flauto traverso, viola da gamba, harpsichord and guitar) and voices. Works include carols for all to sing, chant and selections by J.S. Bach, Telemann, Zipoli and Alessandro Scarlatti. The ensemble will appear in period attire.
