Mezzo-soprano Carrie Cheron joins Très Maresienne (Lisa Brooke, violin; Carol Lewis, viola da gamba; Olav Chris Henriksen, vihuela & baroque guitar) for a concert of songs, fantasias, variations & dances by Ortiz, Cabezón, Milan, Selma, Durón, Sanz & Murcia, among others. They’ll perform a Jacaras and several very different settings of Folias, as well as a beautiful, haunting romance and a very lively tono humano by Hidalgo.
