Critically acclaimed keyboardist Adam Pearl, Assistant Professor of Harpsichord at the Peabody Institute in Baltimore, puts Bach’s keyboard music in historical perspective. Performing toccatas and dance suites by the finest 17th-century composers such as Frescobaldi, Froberger, Buxtehude, Couperin, and d’Anglebert, Dr. Pearl will illustrate intricate connections that can be drawn from one generation of composition to another, with all roads leading to featured works by J.S. Bach. Presented by Washington Bach Consort.
