Biography
Andy Manshel is a student of the lute, baroque guitar and theorbo. Professionally, he is an attorney and Senior Advisor at Hollis Public Affairs, with a focus on enterprises involved in technology, public space, real estate and local government. His expertise is in not-for-profit governance, telecommunications technology servies, finance and commercial real estate transfers, leasing and finance. Over the years he has provided advice to Artek, Anonymous 4, Tenet and Blue Heron, among many others. He was a long time board member of Chamber Music America and counsel to the National Music Council and the American Guild of Organists. He is a graduate of Oberlin College and New York University's law and business schools. He blogs at theplacemaster.com.
