Biography
Pat holds an MFA in Early Music Performance from Sarah Lawrence College. She has taught recorder and early notation at workshops across the country as well as in her home studio. She has led Collegia at UNC-Greensboro and at Wake Forest University. Fortuna, her small a capella choir, drew crowds to its performances of 14th through early 16th century music for 20 years across the Triangle area of North Carolina, winning an arts award from a local weekly newspaper. Her passion for teaching early notation has inspired many amateurs to dabble in the arcane manuscripts of the late 14th and early 15th centuries.
