Biography
Zoe Vandermeer (www.sopranoandharp.com) is a soprano and triple harpist specializing in Baroque, Classical, Bel Canto repertoire and her own compositions. She performs as a soprano soloist in oratorio, chamber music and opera, and has given solo soprano/harp performances in the US, Spain, and Scotland. Her solo album, 'Angel's Wine, the Songs of John Dowland', was released by Centaur Records July 17, 2026 on national and international online platforms.
Ms. Vandermeer teaches singing, historical harp and lever harp online and in person in CT. Currently pursuing her Masters in Research in Performance Practice at the University of Birmingham UK, she is a prize-winning graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Zoe Vandermeer is on the Roster of the Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism, and is a recipient of numerous awards, prizes, and grants. Ms. Vandermeer has been a featured guest on radio stations in the US and Scotland, and articles about her can be found in the Swiss journal Harpa and Classical Singer Magazine.
Ms. Vandermeer is a member of the New York Singing Teachers Association, the Historical Harp Society, and the American Harp Society.
