Founded as the St. Mary Schola in 2008 and becoming one of Maine's most respected early-music organizations, the Aurora Camerata is a vibrant, forward-looking ensemble dedicated to historically informed performance of a broad range of repertoire including medieval chant, Renaissance polyphony, Baroque chamber reperoire, early American vocal music as well as new works inspired by ancient forms.
