blackbird baroque is the newest early music ensemblew in Southern California.
Headed by Violinist/Violist Suzanna Giordano Gignac, blackbird baroque bringfs a fresh approach to the music of the early baroque up to the early classical. Made up of Violin(s), Viola, Cello, Harpsichord, Theorbo, with the addition of Flute, Oboe, Voice depending on program. Based in Winnetka at the beautiful St Martin-in-the-Fields Church bringing period muisic to the west San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles – and beyond!
We are inspired by this amazing music and are blessed to share it with the community.
