About

Savannah Baroque is a flexibly sized ensemble of instrumentalists and singers who perform music centered around the Baroque Era, including the late Renaissance, Elizabethan, Baroque, and early Classical periods. Members include Anne Acker harpsichord, fortepiano, organ, and artistic and managing director; Marcy Brenner, viols; Ann Cafferty, baroque violin; Jeana Melilli, baroque and classical flute; Erika Andres, baroque, renaissance, and classical flute,  Kyle Siddons, baritone; Tina Zenker Williams, soprano; and Carver Blanchard, lute.  Programs have included Fantasies and Follies, 1685, Le Donna in Musica, Music for a While, and others.  We particularly champion works by neglect talented women composers. We were delighted to have received a grant from EMA to do a very successful and rewarding residency in an inner city school in Savannah in early 2019.
