“O Rosetta”: Songs of Love and Youth from Seventeenth-Century Italy – Friday, Oct. 30 at 7:00pm PST

Led by Rotem Gilbert, Jennifer Kampani, and Jason Yoshida, the USC Thornton Baroque Sinfonia presents a virtual concert of seventeenth-century Italian music in its first performance of the season! Capturing a lively spirit, the concert will feature sacred and secular songs by Claudio Monteverdi, Tarquinio Merula, Girolamo Frescobaldi, and Emilio de Cavalieri, as well as instrumental dance music by Giorgio Mainerio and Giovanni Paolo Cima. Come celebrate the power of music to bring us together.
