COLD SPRING HARBOR, NY — Hear three voices bring centuries of Advent and Christmas music to life when Concerts by the Pond presents Grammy-nominated Trio Mediæval in *YULE* on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Cold Spring Harbor, New York.
The program brings medieval English carols and Gregorian chant together with traditional Norwegian and Swedish hymns and contemporary works by Marianne Reidarsdatter Eriksen and Andrew Smith. The Coventry Carol and There is no rose sit alongside Nordic seasonal music passed down through generations of singers. In the intimate sanctuary at St. John’s, listeners can hear the trio’s harmonies and quietest musical details up close.
A preconcert talk by the Rev. Gideon Pollach begins at 6:30 p.m. St. John’s Episcopal Church is at 1670 Route 25A, Cold Spring Harbor, NY 11724. General admission is $75.
