“In Love There Is Moment” October 22, 2026
Join members of Williamsburg Baroque at Williamsburg Presbyterian Church on Thursday October 22 for an intimate chamber music concert with Grammy winning soprano Margot Rood. This concert will highlight Rameau’s breathtaking and timeless French cantata from 1721, Oprhée, a musical retelling of the Greek myth Orpheus and Eurydice in addition to other chamber works popular in Baroque France. Harpsichordist Dylan Sauerwald (whose music is featured on the BBC’s hit series Poldark) makes his debut with Williamsburg Baroque.
The title of the program comes from the last aria of the cantata, “En amour, il est un moment” Iin Love, there is a Moment”
