Are you an early music ensemble (minimum 3 members)?
Is the average age of your members 32 years or under?
Do you focus on historically informed performance practice and play repertoire of any period from the Middle Ages to the 19th century on period instruments?

The York International Young Artists Competition, hosted by the National Centre for Early Music and in partnership with BBC Radio 3, provides a major boost to young professional careers, offering opportunities for performances, recording and broadcasting.

Prizes include a paid concert as part of the 2025 York Early Music Festival and a professional CD recording produced by Linn Records, adjudicated by a jury of European musical professionals.

Accommodation for the duration of the final is provided for North American musicians, and travel from the point of arrival in the UK and York is refunded up to £65.
