L.A.’s baroque community orchestra opens its 10th Season with music of enchantment by Vivaldi, Graun and Geminiani written for 18th-century stage versions of the popular story “Armida.” Plus, Handel’s birds! The “Sweet Bird” aria from L’Allegro, and his “Cuckoo and Nightingale” Organ Concerto.

All are welcome but children who are unable to sit quietly for a one hour performance are invited to join afterward for the reception.
