Jouyssance pays homage to two giants of the English Renaissance who died in 1623: William Byrd and Thomas Weelkes. The program will feature Byrd’s beloved Mass for Four Voices and Weelkes’ popular madrigal honoring Queen Elizabeth I, As Vesta was from Latmos Hill Descending.
