The Indianapolis Early Music Festival presents Singapore’s exciting new baroque orchestra Red Dot Baroque

Don’t miss this pre-recorded debut concert of Red Dot Baroque, Singapore’s exciting new baroque orchestra! With a strong artistic commitment to the drama and rhetoric of Baroque music, watch various members of the ensemble take turns at the spotlight in Corelli’s Concerto Grosso in D major, Telemann’s Concerto for Flute and Violin and Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5! Red Dot Baroque also gives its signature take on two selections from John Playford’s The Division Violin, transforming simple folk tunes into a mass improvisation sequence for the whole ensemble, complete with theatrical cues, lighting effects and audience sing-a-long! Red Dot Baroque is directed by baroque violinist Alan Choo.
