Improvisation has always been a way for people to get together, communicate their ideas musically and make a community. In this video we want to ask you to improvise with us online, to make an international ensemble, a stance against covid and the artistic numbness its effects are starting to have.
Following Renaissance practises we have translated Co-Vid into Sol-Mi. We ask you to send us a small improvisation with the notes G-E (wherever or whatever pitch they may be on your instrument), just oscillating between only those two notes, going faster and slower, imitating the oscillation of Covid cases in different waves worldwide.
Finally, we put them together as a global improvisation.
