Baroque Music Festival, Corona del Mar 2024: Handel & Purcell Odes (Finale)

$50All the Pleasures! The 44th Festival closes with divine choral odes by Handel and Purcell, plus instrumental works by both composers. Followed by the Festival Subscribers’ Dinner.
Nola Richardson (soprano), Clifton Massey (countertenor) and Jesse Blumberg (baritone) join the Festival Orchestra and Chorus in Handel’s Ode for the Birthday of Queen Anne, “Eternal Source of Light Divine” (Kathryn Adduci, baroque trumpet) and Purcell’s ode Welcome to All the Pleasures. Plus, instrumental selections from Purcell’s stage work Dioclesian, a Purcell In nomine for solo strings, and Handel’s celebrated Concerto Grosso Op. 6, No. 11 with its beautiful violin solos.

Festival Subscriptions $325, include premium, reservable, seating and a private catered dinner after the Finale on June 23.
Student Rush Tickets are $10 at the door, for ages 12-29, with valid student card and photo ID, subject to availability.
