Baroque Music Festival, Corona del Mar 2024: London Fog, Italian Sunshine (Opening Concert)

Soloists from the Festival Orchestra will bring out the southern sun to banish the northern fog through the influence of Italian composers. Come for J.C. (“The London”) Bach’s Italianate Sinfonia Concertante for violin and cello, concerti grossi by Corelli, Geminiani (arranging Corelli) and Avison (after Scarlatti), and stay for Handel’s organ concerto “Cuckoo and Nightingale” and more—performed by the Festival Orchestra led by Elizabeth Blumenstock.

Single Tickets $50
Festival Subscriptions $325, include premium, reservable, seating and a private catered dinner after the Festival Finale on June 23.
Student Rush Tickets are $10 at the door, for ages 12-29, with valid student card and photo ID, subject to availability.

Complimentary Wine & Waters receptions and pre-concert brass music al fresco for all ticket holders.
