Tonos del Sur at Latin American Music Festival, UIChicago, and Bloomington, IN

Tonos del Sur, directed by Sarah Cranor, is excited to present secular and sacred music from across Latin America, in Spanish, Chiquitano, and Quechua, in a project culminating with modern premieres of villancicos from the Catedral Metropolitana archive in Santiago, Chile, in partnership with scholar Paul Feller. Â Tonos will present this concert at the Latin American Music Festival through the University of Illinois Chicago on Friday, April 12th at 7:30 pm at Notre Dame de Chicago, and on Saturday, April 13th at 6:00 pm in Bloomington, Indiana at Faith Lutheran Church. Â Both concerts are free and open to the public.
