Bach Week Festival: J. S. Bach’s Mass in B Minor

$15 – $50The Bach Week Festival will conclude its 50th anniversary and farewell season with J. S. Bach’s Mass in B Minor, BWV 232, hailed as a cathedral of sound, a myriad of musical miracles, and a crowning achievement of Western music. The work is a treasury of many of Bach’s greatest musical ideas. Soloists are Josefien Stoppelenburg, soprano; Kathleen Felty, soprano; Susan Platts, contralto; Geoffrey Agpalo, tenor; and David Govertsen, bass, with the North Park University Chamber Singers and Bach Week Festival Orchestra and Chorus, Richard Webster, conductor.
